I just love the collection and it is perfect for teenage girls.
Available from http://www.allaboutscrapbooks.com.au I used a new cut from the Silhouette design store. A whole lot of love for this cut file. I have randomly added patterned paper in the hearts for visual impact. In the process of adding layers and sewing. Thrilled to be chosen to be apart of this awesome design team.
Scrappy Canary is an Australian based Scrapbook Kit club. Each month they provide a selection of co-ordinated goodies for Scrapbookers and Project Lifers. Can't wait to start creating!!! Follow the links to their blog and web site. http://www.scrappycanary.blogspot.com.au http://www.scrappycanary.com I am so excited to be chosen to be apart of this design team, some very awesome talent to be working with! Three boys will come in very handy here !!!!!
Head over to the blog for full announcement: http://www.scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au I have loved working with this collection. My previous layouts using this collection have been very feminine and so this time I set myself the challenge of creating a more masculine layout. The second challenge for January is to create a layout out on patterned paper. Currently most of my layouts are on 'white' and I build my layout from this, so to start with a patterned paper background was a challenge. I have used Life of a Girl by photo Play which is such a gorgeous collection purchased at http://www.allaboutscrapbooks.com.au
Head over to The Studio Challenges blog for more details on this current challenge: http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.com.au The January challenge is....What are your hopes and dreams for 2016?, very apt I thought! My theme for this year is less worry, stress less and way more happy. My title says it all for me and I just need to remind myself of my set mantra when things get difficult. Thanks for stopping by for a look x

The challenge theme is Selfie and Personality. Ok I have to admit that I do not take selfies (maybe because I am heading to 50 lol!!!!) but it also allowed you to use any photo of you. My title 'Perfectly Imperfect' is a reflection on accepting me as I am and be kinder to myself as I tend to be my harshest critic. I enjoyed creating this layout, playing with texture paste, glimmer mists, sewing, layering and using my Silhouette (rose digital cut file). Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the More Than Words blog. http://www.morethanwordschallenge.blogspot.com.au I just loved working with this collection by Pink Paislee Cedar Lane. Today it is about foxes, which by the way I love!!!! My layout was created around the fox embellishments and the 2Crafty frame which I embossed in gold. http://allaboutscrapbooksaustralia.blogspot.com/2016/01/pink-paislee-cedar-lane-by-rachel-lowe.html I know very few scrappers that actually 'like' their handwriting. I tend yo hide my hand writing, or use my typewriter. This challenge you had to incorporate your handwriting into the layout and of course it had to be on Kraft. I left the handwriting until last but knew what I wanted to say. This layout is for my daughter, 2016 will be her last year at school and then she will enter a new world, my message to her be brave always. Still not sure about my handwriting but I enjoyed the challenge. Thanks for taking a look x
