Dusted off my watercolour paints and gelatos for this layout, messy but fun. This collection is just gorgeous with its vibrant colours and bold designs. Two layouts created on a lovely child free afternoon. What more could one ask for.
Layouts created using Crate Paper Craft Market and Becky Higgins Azure collections. This colour combination so suites this 1969 photo. Anyone who knows me, know I do not love yellow but I have to admit it is growing on me when it is mixed with pinks and greys (and aqua). Love this photo of me and my mama. Back to using up left over collections, project life kits and embellishments. I am very inclined at the moment to use patterned base paper, it makes it more challenging when it comes to creating balance. Black and orange may not be trending currently but I just love this colour combination for a boy themed layout. Don't you love it when you go through your stash and make a layout of bits of this and bits of that! Again I have used a patterned base paper and worked from there, the black and orange working beautifully together. Here is a few layouts created on my weekend away with Dusty Attic. I have used many of the new collections that have finally hit Australian shores. Simple Stories I Am, Say Cheese 11, Document Life, Crate Paper, Craft Market, Echo Park, Jack (Jack and Jill) and Heidi Swapp Hello Beautiful. I used the March kit, Caribbean Skies from D-Lish Scraps, just love the aqua and yellows with a deer as the cherry on top! I have set myself the challenge to go back and use all left overs from previously purchased collections. This one is using Carta Bella, Snapshots. The fact I only had two 12x12 papers, some scraps and a couple of stickers made it interesting, I would have never chosen the flower paper as a background if I had more to choose from but I have to say I am pleased with the result. One down a hundred to go! After too many of our scrapbooks closing, we were again left with no where to scrap together on a regular basis. Now we have hired a community hall, so once a month we can scrap until our hearts content. Scrapping is more than we what we produce it is about community, a sense of belonging which is important in todays society. Homemade Vanilla Slice provided by one of our gorgeous ladies a cherry on top! I was actually productive somewhere in between the catching up on all the happenings and eating.
