The second challenge of the month is 'Hero's'.

It could be your hero, your children's heroes or who ever is a hero in your eyes. My layout was created with my boys father in mind. I have used Bella BLVD Family Forever collection. The journal card will be written in at a later date but for the purpose of it being a DT layout I have left it blank. I hope you will play along and I can't wait to see what you create.

My Monday DT share for All About Scrapbooks and again I am using the EP Little Man collection. I created two layouts this week.  I had so much fun scrapping photos of my boys when they were younger and I finally managed to scrap their first ever footy photo (Bright green and white, who thought of that colour combo!!!!). Here is my first DT layout for The Studio Challenges. The first challenge of this month is a sketch. Here is my take on the sketch. I have used Crate Paper Hello Love collection (being THE day of love).

This photo of my daughter is just stunning (thank you Sandie Mallon Photography) and of course it had to be scrapped. I went feminine  plus. The heart is a digital cut file from the Silhouette design store. I used the recently released Crate Paper Hello Love paper to fill the hearts and and mat my photo along with some embellishments from the collection. The flowers were from my stash and the white/gold leaves were from a 2015 Studio Calico kit. I add gold features to contrast against the white and black elements.  The flair was from D-Lish Scraps. I love this layout I have to say, my favourite creation of 2016!

Studio Fourteen 40 are an Australian company specialising in custom designed button flairs and scrapbooking products (did I mention wood veneers paper pins, labels and word sheets!). Today they released the most gorgeous Valentine flairs.

I am now apart of another challenge blog site based in the UK. Challenges are every two weeks and hopefully get you inspired and get you creative mojo going!
