And it is Monochromatic, use one colour only, varying shades ok! I find monochromatic layouts quite a challenge without heading to a mixed media layout. I have used Indigo Hills by Pink Fresh Studio using only the blues and white. I ended up being very happy with how this layout turned out. I hope you will join us and give it a go! This week Pink Paislee released some cut files in their design store and some co ordinate with Paige Taylor Evans Oh My Heart collection. I have used it on this layout  and I over sized it for impact. This photo of my daughter is the sweetest thing!

This such a bright and fun collection. As soon as I saw the little houses it immediately inspired me to create this layout. This is photo of me and my three sons. I found a house cut file from The Silhouette Design store which I cut in black cardstock. I then used water colour paints to colour the inside of my house. I have added paper from the collection to the roof and windows. I then set about adding the embellishments that added to my theme, love the puffy stickers in particular!!!

I had been waiting impatiently for my order to arrive from over east and late this week it all finally arrived and oh my gosh it is prettier in real life. I have made a super pretty and girly layout. There are two cut files on this layout (both from Silhouette Design store), a butterfly heart and modern floral cluster. I found the most perfect photo of my daughter which went beautifully with the dark blues, purples and burgundy hues. Lots of foam tape has been used to my added fussy cut butterflies. Have I mentioned i love Bella BLVD and the new collection Make your Mark is no exception. Believe it or not I did not use a cut file on this layout, just good old scrapping! I have fussy cut the flowers and then layered for effect. I have added sewing to texture and some light splatters of black colour shine.

Bea Valint is an amazing scrapper and I often head to her blog for inspiration. She also offers free cut files. Here is the cutest Tag Book cut file from her blog. I have put my own twist on her idea by adding border cut files from the Silhouette Design store. I also added a feather cut file. I have used Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss collection to decorate. Super cute and easy to make.
