Today it is all about Mother's Day or grandmothers! Create an altered paper project or layout, use letters in a fun way, add a monogram or in anyway that celebrates these wonderful women in our lives. What a great challenge! Here is my take on this challenge. I have used Doodlebug Cream and Sugar collection which is available in the Paper Issues on line store. My monogram MOM heart is a cut file which I backed with the gorgeous papers from this collection. I love hanging out with my mum having tea or coffee and some sweet treats hence the themes of my layout. Head over to the blog for all the details and we do hope you will join us! paperissues.blogspot.com/…/new-issue-mom-o-grams-rou… Don't forget if you would like to purchase any of the product I have used to create this layout or any other product please use discount code below. Hello everyone! Paper Issues have Saturday Scrap lift challenge for you today. Scrap lift the layout and post on the Paper Issues Face Book and # Paper Issues on Instagram. I love how every scrap lift I have ever done never looks like the layout I am scrap lifting! Here is the layout you are to scrap lift today: paperissues.blogspot.com/.../scraplift-sunday_3.html And here is my take on the layout! I have used Maggie Holmes Chasing dreams which is available in store. I have also used a free cut file from Paper Issues called Daydreamer. Don't forget if you use my code Rachel L you will receive a 20% discount off anything you order from Paper Issues! Thank you for stopping by today and see you soon! I have created a Mothers Day gift using a cheap frame. My mother being British is an avid tea drinker and therefore this collection by Kaisercraft High Tea was perfect to decorate my frame. I love this photo of my mother and I, and as she says handmade gifts have so much more meaning than a bought gift! I have used Helmar adhesives to create this. Please head over to the Helmar blog to see how I created this and more photos!

I knew straight away that the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Endless Summer collection was perfect for this challenge! I have used an amazing hibiscus cut file in keeping with the summer flavour (Silhouette Design store).
Here is another layout I created over the (inter) NSD and it's all about fun! I love pineapples, do not ask me why as I am not a fan of this food but boy they look fab on a layout. I was very excited to find a fringed pineapple cut file to say the least! I also added another layer of fringe with a vellum sheet I found with gold pineapples on. I used some floral cut files from the Paper Issues store which were free to add to the top of my pineapple and backed them in a contrasting colour. The fringed pineapple can be found in the Silhouette Design store. I have used Crate Paper Oasis collection.
Well today is the day we all get to celebrate our craft! I am celebrating with Paper Issues who have so much happening today. Each DT has set a challenge to get your mojo going. My challenge is....only use patterned paper (no block colours or background). Here is my take on the challenge and I have used Crate Paper Chasing Dreams collection (which is available in store) and the cut file (mega fringed heart) is also available in the Paper Issues store and it is FREE! Here are the links to the Paper Issues blog and store: Have a wonderful NSD and I can't wait to see what you all create! www.paperissues.com www.paperissues.blogspot.com I love a good sketch to get my mojo going and this certainly did! I have used the gorgeous Shimelle Little You collection which is available at Paper Issues! I have also used two of the flower free cut files from Paper Issues. I have added small hand cut flowers to the centres but chose to leave the larger rose white. I love adding vellum to my layouts to add a softness. I then added the beautiful die cuts (ephemera) to embellish. Head over to the blog to see more DT layouts and head to the Paper Issues shop to buy Shimelle Little You product. paperissues.blogspot.com/…/04/may-sketchy-saturday.h… www.paperissues.blogspot.co www.paperissues.com Happy NSD my scrappy friends! I hope you have put aside some time to join in the many scrapbooking challenges that will be going on over the week end. I have already noticed so many sites are having discounts and specials on products yah!!! My first challenge layout is the sketch by Creative Scrappers especially created for today and you will love it. I have used Pretty Little Studios With all my Heart collection which is stunning. Have a wonderful week end of creating and celebrating our love of memory keeping and making 'pretty stuff'.
I was very flattered that Pretty Little Studio featured this layout on Instagram 7/5/17! www.creativescrappers.blogspot.com And it is all about Mothers Day, so get scrapping the boy/man in your life mums! My layout is of my gorgeous son number three! I have used Cocoa Vanilla Studio Wild at Heart collection and a lovely cut file from the Silhouette Design store. Head to the blog for all details. I can't wait to see what you create.
www.scraptheboys.blogspot.com Your challenge is to think Throwback. Something that reminds you of something yesterday, it could be in the form of throwback papers, embellishments, style, colours etc.
When I started scrapping it was all about doilies, rosette flowers and big buttons! I have approached my layout with a modern twist using a fab doily cut file from Silhouette Design store. I have used a spring collection by Photo Play Paper called Bloom. Head over to the blog for all the details and we do hope you will join us! www.anothercolorfulcreation.blogspot.com |
